It is also reminiscent of Alucard’s story which I will not give away. Jermaine the alchemist in this second book, although it was enigmatic and somewhat moot. It makes me wonder if the creators of the Castlevania Netflix series felt the same way and so took liberties to expand upon the Hector and Isaac roles in depth. It’s unfortunate because Curse of Darkness had so much potential. They should have continued with the series, but seeing that it came out in 2005, and it is now the year 2020, it’s safe to say it is unlikely a continuation will surface. A bit chaotic of a read, at times the art and dialogue clashed to the point of confusion. It makes me wonder if the creators of the Castlevania Netflix series felt the same way and I’m already sad to have finished this so quickly.
